ABOUT THIS JOB
RDD ENG – EE, Electrical Design Engineer for Multi-Node Program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIE
o Works primarily in Electrical engineering in product development, design, sustaining, or R&D. Plans and conducts research, design and development of standard engineering assignments.
o Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations. Assesses results for applicability, validity and conformance to specifications.
o Usually works with minimum supervision.
o May be assisted by entry or junior or level personnel.
o Assists in project planning and review. Assignments are reviewed for overall soundness and adherence to stated objectives. Handles special projects, as assigned.
o Design analog circuits, digital circuits and interfaces for sensors.
o Draw schematic and board layout in design tool.
o Test prototype circuits and modify as required.
o Assist technicians in assembly and lab testing of prototypes.
o Write reports providing the results of testing and outlining recommendations for improvement.
o Improve product knowledge through increased familiarization with tech manuals and “hands on” experience.
o Provide guidance and technical assistance to field operations and manufacturing technicians.
o Assist with technical training. Check and approve drawings.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
o Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
o Experience with Electronics design tools for e.g. Altium Designer or similar product.
o Experience with qualification testing e.g. vibration testing , and temperature testing
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Demonstrates practical approached to problem solving.
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and managed a team.
