Full time lecturer Needed
The Department of UBA Education & Teacher Development invites applications for a two-year Full-Time Lecturer (FTL) position to support the Masters of Arts in Teaching program beginning Fall 2015. The FTL will be responsible for placing students and tracking their progress in their practicum (student teaching) and prepracticum field placements. The position also includes teaching in the MAT program where courses include a variety of teacher education courses. Course assignment will depend on the successful applicant's background and interests. These may include pedagogy-focused courses in the MAT program for initial or professional licensure or content-focused and methods courses for initial or professional licensure.
Requirements : Candidates must have a doctorate in Education as well as demonstrated evidence of excellence in teaching. Candidates should also have K-12 teaching experience.
