GIS Technical Writer in Geotech Needed


Job Description
The Technical Proposal Writer will be working and coordinating the efforts of Subject Matter Experts needed to either document products/process or drive proposal responses. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects involved in creating original content and editing existing technical product documentation as well as repurposing already created useful materials. Your proactive nature will drive the time-sensitive proposal development process to ensure that team members are providing the required information to be integrated into the proposal; preparing, managing, and monitoring proposals in response to the RFP/RFQ/RFI. Key skills for successful execution of this role include a strong base in technical documentation, excellent knowledge of Word, Adobe and others communications tools, good research skills, strong technical ability and a strong self-starting disposition.
Skill Requirements:
• 5+ years 'experience in writing documents, RFPs, PRFQ, RFI, coordination with production, and management.
• Experience with complex government proposals.
• Understanding of business development/pursuit tracking.
• Strong organizational, project management and time management skills.
• Strong MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Power points and SharePoint.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Services related proposal experience is a plus
• Experience responding to government related RFPs 5+ years of technical writing experience with networking technologies.
• Demonstrated professional writing skills using proving tools and established methods.
• Exposure and willingness to engage in a variety of writing and documentation including but proposal development.
