Networking and NOC Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Texum Jordan is seeking a Manager of networking and NOC department to join the team in Jordan. We are seeking 10+ years of managerial experience as this is a true Managerial role. Experience working closely with a Managed Services field and outsourced resources is important.
Job Summary:
-Management Level:
The IT Network Manager provides management for NOC team on daily bases in order to utilize the resource in the best way.
-Technical Level:
Provides support for the team on networks level, including all servers, routers, network security appliances, (including Firewalls, WEB filter, Spam Filter, Anti-Virus Security systems), in addition to all windows upgrades and server migration, etc.
-Sales and Presales Level:
Provides technical support for the pre-sales team in desing solutions in addition to the Sales team in customer meetings
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• At least 7 years of network experience and administration of a corporate computing environment infrastructure, Windows Server (2008, 2012) management and support, proficient with Active Directory, Windows Desktop OS support proficiency, MS Exchange support, experience working with network switches and routers.
• At least 3 years in true managerial and team management role.
• Sales and presales skills are a must
• Consideration will also be given with an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrated required knowledge and skills attained (Ex. Management Certifications, high education, working on enterprise companies ...)
IT Network Manager Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of comprehensive Management Information Systems
• Ability to lead and maintain the management of IT related projects
• Ability to demonstrate positive leadership skills
• Strong analytical skills (Problem solving/analysis)
• Solid networking knowledge
• Strong IT skills.
• Ability to plan, design and troubleshoot local and wide area network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, DNS servers, DHCP servers, clustering solutions, and related hardware, software, and services
• Ability to provide tier 4 support and network disaster recovery expertise
• Strong communication skills. Ability to explain technical problems to others without technical knowledge
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with others in all levels of the organization.
• Ability to do professional meetings and presentations for the customers.
