Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, identifying work
process improvements.
Job Description:-
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
• Determine and manage the technical infrastructure/ frameworks to deliver robust, secure and reliable web applications and services;
• Embed and manage effective quality control processes for the development of applications
• Advise on and plan for future developments, including preparation of requirements specifications;
• Contribute to the management and direction of Web Services and deputies for the Head of Web Services when necessary.
Job Requirements:-
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience designing and building large-scale.
• Experience managing a team.
• Proven ability to consistently deliver technology projects on time, on budget with high quality.
• Experience of working with designers and content editors on a project team.
• Excellent knowledge of web standards.
• Good organizational and self-management skills.
Technical Skills
• Proven software development experience in PHP.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrable knowledge of development best practices .
• Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn-around times & very team oriented.
• Work fluently with iOS development, with focus on robust design and server-client integration.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.
•
• Experience working with APIs and Web Services.
• Experience developing complex apps, prior Automatic Reference Counting (ARC) is a plus.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, E bay etc).
•
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, eCommerce, WordPress etc.
