Description:
Job Role: Medical Translator
Basic Purpose of the role:
Responsible for converting written health, patient and family education information content from source language to target language while ensuring that the translated version is as accurate as the source language text. Also responsible for assisting in proofreading technical medico-legal documents. Responsible for performing a variety of interpretation, translation and medical escort services to assist non – English speaking residents and their families.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English Language or a degree in the medical field
Preferred Experience:
2-4 years of relevant experience preferably in a healthcare facility
Skills:
Background in medical terminology
Excellent in Arabic and English communication skills
Competent with computers especially MS Office
