JOB PROFILE FOR CLINICAL SUPPORT: M.East
Medical Division
OBJECTIVES OF JOB:
Obtaining the understanding and acknowledgement from the hospitals management that the product quality, “Best practice”, training, and education lead to the optimal cost effectiveness.
Introducing the “Best Practice” procedures based on the usage of medical division products and training & education programs.
Provision of clinically orientated but commercially focused product training and application support for medical division.
Gaining the acceptance of medical division products and systems among the end-users in clinics and hospitals.
To work closely with sales executives of the Distributor reps and CRC’s (where applicable), and communicate customer, competitor and sales information as gathered during job role activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:
To liaise and work with the Sales Executives to provide customers with clinical and product education and training to support medical division products in the region.
To prepare and present clinically orientated but commercially focused product training programs for identified customers - hospitals.
Together with medical division Distributors identify, select and prioritize target accounts and Key Customers.
Communication of market and competitor information resulting from job activities to relevant medical division personnel – specifically Management and Marketing.
To build business relationships within hospital accounts to maximize sales of a specified range of products by creating and developing “Best Practice” procedures.
To manage in-service process as part of conversion process.
To represent medical division in a professional manner on all occasions whilst providing the customer (as appropriate) an awareness of the full range of medical division products available in the M.East.
To attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote both medical division company image and selected range of products.
To work with marketing (EMA, European & USA level) to provide effective communication of new product technical data and its clinical applications for customers, sales force and customer service.
To prepare and deliver formal technical and/or sales presentations at relevant clinical workshops, seminars and informal meetings.
To build relationships and communicate with key clinicians and opinion leaders to maintain awareness of ‘Best Practice’, trends and procedures that are related to Medical division Products.
To support product trials and clinical audits.
To keep updated on relevant clinical practices and procedures via trainings and external courses etc.
Education and business experience:
Professional nursing/clinical education (Diploma in General Nursing = minimum requirement)
At least four years working within the Healthcare environment. Both Private and State institutions.
Experience in running training and education programs/seminars etc.
An understanding of the Health Care Industry, key drivers, and influencers, in order to establish effective account objectives.
PC Skills – use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Multi lingual.
Driving license

An ability to identify business opportunities in relation to retention and growth strategies.
Influencing skills – communication, listening, persuasion
Communication and presentation Skills –verbal and non verbal to a high standard
Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and handling own work
Flexibility and willingness to travel in the region.
