The Role
The Senior Accountant will be working alone in the finance and administration position and reporting to
the Head of Accounting.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:
Daily support to the stores related to cash management fiscal and administrative issues;•
Key contact for local vendors, banks and local insurer regarding administrative issues;•
Key contact for other internal functions with respect to administrative issues;•
Intercompany and third parties vendor invoices postings;•
Payments preparation after the collection of the authorization signatures;•
Advances and credit vouchers reconciliation of MS Dynamic GP;•
Shop to shop transfer, transport and other client invoices posting and production;•
• Daily and monthly bank report preparation to the Group Treasury Department;
Monthly intercompany balances reconciliation and accruals communication;•
Monthly depreciation management of fixed assets and posting:•
Monthly revaluation of items in foreign currency;•
Monthly valuation of stock and goods in transit;•
Key contact for tax auditors regarding requests of accounting documentation;•
Accurate archiving of accounting documents;•
Archive of legal and fiscal documentation of the company;•
Administrative control of periodic fiscal stock takes;•
Support in the preparation of annual financial statements;•
The Person
The successful candidate will:
have at least 5 years’ experience within a retail environment•
have at least 3 years’ experience and training in ERP (MS Dynamics GP training will be an advantage)•
have a relevant finance or accounting degree•
CPA/MBA highly• preferred
be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia – Dammam area or already be based there•
Salary
SR 6,000 - 10,000
