Job for PHP / wordpress freelance developer
PHP/Wordpress freelancer developer needed asap :
i`am looking to hire a new developer familiar with the PHP development for WordPress to work on some of our latest internal and client projects. All applicants should have experience writing or modifying themes and/or plugins for WordPress and should be familiar with modern coding standards for PHP5. Familiarity with frameworks such as CakePHP is a plus.
PHP development for WordPress isn’t the only thing you’ll be doing. As a PHP developer you’ll be collaborating with our talented design team to create some of the best user interaction experiences on the web. JavaScript (both pure JavaScript and jQuery), XHTML and CSS(3) skills are going to be necessary for this position.
Position Requirements:
•Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level in plugins and themes
•Advanced knowledge of PHP5
•Experience writing pure JavaScript and using jQuery
•Experience with Firebug ( console.log(this); should mean something to you )
•Writing XHTML markup and CSS using modern, semantic coding standards
•A sense of humor and a creative, open approach to tasks
Pluses to Have:
•OOP experience with PHP
••Experience working with MySQL 5+ and Apache 2+
•Writing a WordPress plugin from scratch
•Creating a WordPress theme from scratch
•Experience with HTML5 technologies
•Experience with CakePHP and familiarity with the MVC programming method
•Experience with versioning systems like SVN or GIT
