- Manufacturing Manager Job Profile and Description
Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overall aspectual process of the Quality & production. The role of the Manufacturing Manager is to provide leadership of logistics, materials, supply chain, planning, and manufacturing functions and to manage these tasks directly. The Manufacturing Manager’s key challenge is to maintain production within specific guidelines for plant’s efficiency, labor cost, product rework, waste amounts, and control of on-hold product.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leading the manufacturing team to accomplish the cost control, quality, and productivity targets.
• Providing technical expertise and coaching to resolve any processing issues, creating and ensuring the execution of correct action.
• Analyzing and resolving problems at work as a fellow member of the manufacturing production crew.
• Interpreting policies and safety guidelines of organization to workers.
• Developing, analyzing, and presenting monthly reports, productivity, forecasts, and safety.
• Establishing work procedures to satisfy production needs.
• Developing, monitoring, and implementing production forecasts and departments budgets.
• Suggesting and driving changes in working environment conditions and equipments usage to increase the overall efficiency of the production operation.
• Directing the Production & Quality managers in provision and execution of operating strategies and plans.
• Evaluating the company’s product specifications and examining them with customer requirements.
• Setting quality assurance compliance objectives to achieve the targets.
• Promoting performance improvement and quality assurance programs throughout the organization.
• Ensuring product compliance with international and national legislation and standards.
• Defining quality measures in conjunction with working staff.
• Maintaining and setting up documentation and control procedures.
• Collating and analyzing performance charts and data against defined parameters.
• Monitoring performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports.

• Able to motivate, influence, and train people.
• Able to interact with all professionals of Plant Management.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
