Monitoring and Evaluation Team Leader


• Manage data collection processes, ensuring data is gathered in a timely and appropriate manner and to an acceptable quality
• Manage, or support other programme staff to manage, data analysis
• Ensure that monitoring data are reported in a timely manner to relevant programme and managerial staff
• Support the development of data collection methodology and tools
• Support data management and development of clear information flow between programme and M+E staff, as needed
• Support the development of a data management system through documentation, implementation and coordination of standardised information flow of M+E activities and reporting
• Support the development of guidance on procedures, policies and processes around M+E
• Support in standardising M+E across projects
• Support the recruitment for new M+E staff
• Capacity building and training of programme staff on M+E implementation, for example data collection and data management, as needed
• Report on any security incidents to the Country Security Advisor or designated focal point
• Build and maintain good working relations with staff from programmes and projects.
• Support the Programme Department in new initiatives, should these arise during the employment period
• Other activities agreed and discussed with the Country and Programme Directors
• Liaise with peer organizations and M+E staff in partner agencies to facilitate lessons learned and coordination
