Pre-Sales Engineer

Summary:

Communicate with Customers, Account Managers, & other related team members to grow the existing Business of the company.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Drive the total sales & implementation of the business through proper communication and interaction with customers, Account Managers, and other company staff.
• Promote the sale of company Products and Services across the designated territory through customer visits, seminars, responses and proposal writing and presentations.
• Maintain regular day to day contacts with customers to properly assess opportunities and help create new customer demands.
• Maintain regular day to day contacts with the Account Managers and sales representatives to qualify opportunities and respond to them.
• Develop interpersonal relationships with the Account Managers and the implementation and post sales team to ensure comprehensive customer support for the company products and solutions.
• Develop adequate and competitive networking solutions to respond to customer needs.
• Write effective proposals to properly position the company and the designed solutions to win the trust of the customers.

Client Management:

• Coordination and management of implementation tasks.
• Anticipates planning setbacks and proposes alternative technical solutions.
• Possess a knowledge base of each client’s business, systems and installed products/solutions.
• Effectively sustaining after-sales support.

Project Accounting:
• Ensures timely and accurate delivery of project status report and project documentation.
• Follows up with management any delays in project execution prerequisites.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Telecommunication engineering, communication, IT, computer science, or related field from a well recognized institute.

Skills:

• Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and business problems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to understand data relationships and how data can be used to solve business problems.
• Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple subjects and products.
• Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements.
• Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client’s technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.
• Knowledge of strategic, conceptual, consultative selling.
• Ability to develop marketing messages.
• Production of responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written Arabic communication skills.
• Computer knowledge is essential.

Experience:

Candidate should have at least ___ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in companies with similar activities
