Director Manama Training Center
The Manama Training Center (MTC) is seeking a dynamic Center Director for its growing operations. MTC was established in 2010 with a mandate of providing quality English courses exclusively to the private sector. MTC enjoys the marketing advantage of being able to offer its entire curriculum for free to qualified companies registered with the Ministry of Labor. This decisive marketing advantage will be very attractive to a marketing-oriented, educated Center Director.
• You must be a proven sales producer in education to be successful in this position. You need a verifiable prior sales track record to qualify for this position;
• At least 2+ years of direct teaching experience in English. A prior educational management role is required. Strong preference for prior Middle East experience is desired.
• Prior experience in managing the day-to-day operations of educational institutes including program assessment, student performance, teacher performance monitoring;
• “Hands on” sales experience in organizing a “call program” to solicit new business from private sector clients. • Effectively supervise the operation of administrative staff in office;
• Contributing to key long term expansion plans;
• Intimately familiar with international educational curriculum development;
• Will be in constant contact with the Ministry of Labor and make sure MTC complies with the Ministry’s rules.
*Accompanies marketing person to companies and give a presentation of the academic program of the MTC. Will prepare appropriate materials for these presentations. The major part of the job is to find new clients and follow the process of all clients.
• Plans the scheduling, syllabus and curriculum design of off-site programs and advises marketing person so that an appropriate financial package can be proposed to the off-site client.
• From time-to-time presents workshops on ESL topics to full-time and part-time teachers.
• Designs new courses according to marketing surveys and review of students in addition will also review relevant ESL website for text books and materials.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a standard 1 year contract with option for renewal. The all-inclusive, monthly base salary is BD 1,300.00 (U.S. $3,445). There is a competitive monthly sales incentive plan which could raise the monthly compensation to BD 1,500 - 1,700 per month or higher for the right candidate. Contract includes visa sponsorship, medical & dental group plan, paid 30-days annual leave with round-trip air fare for expat candidates.
Please note that preference will be given to candidates already living in Bahrain. No relocation is offered for this position, so please DO NOT reply if you are not prepared to handle a relocation at your own expense. Saudi applicants welcome.
