1. Rig Electrician

Qualification:

a. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Associates Degree from a fully accredited technical college
Manufacturers training courses, a minimum of two of the following:
Ross Hill SCR Systems
IPS SCR System
Baylor SCR Systems and Brake Controllers
PLC (Programmable Logic Controls
Caterpillar Engine controls
Martin/Decker Instrumentation
Air conditioning & Refrigeration training curse
b. Minimum of 15 years in the electrical field with not less than 10 years experience in the Oil/Gas drilling industry.
c. Has an extensive knowledge of all electrical test equipment associated with the electrical maintenance of drilling rigs, i.e. VOM, digital multimeters, oscilloscope, muggers, phase rotation detectors etc.
d. Have a working knowledge of computers with a minimum capability of using Microsoft programs such as word, outlook, and excel.
e. Familiar with API, ABS, IEEE, & SOLAS standards.
f. Have good leadership skills with the ability to perform on-the-job training for Rig Electricians and Trainees.
g. Have the communication skills necessary to submit reports, complete forms and converse with supervisors and management.
h. Must have a working knowledge of drilling operations i.e. insure knowledgeable recommendations/decisions are made to minimize interruption of rig operations.
i. Familiar with API, IEEE, & SOLAS Standards.
j. Have good leadership skills with the ability to perform on-the-job training for Rig Electricians and Trainees.
k. Have communicating skills necessary to submit reports, complete forms and converse with supervisors and management.








2. Rig Mechanic

Qualification:

a. Have a minimum of ten years of experience in operating and maintaining diesel/electric rig components and related equipment, including Top Drive.
b. Have a working knowledge of other crafts and operations such as welding, pipefitting, crane operations, plumbing carpentry etc.
c. Have the capability of reading and understanding mechanical blueprints, equipment spare parts and service manuals.
d. Have ability to supervise, motivate, train and coordinate subordinates.
e. Be fluent in spoken and written English.
f. Colloquial Arabic is desirable but not required.
g. Familiar with oilfield terminology.
h. Have a working knowledge of drilling operation to ensure knowledgeable recommendations/decisions are made to minimize interruption of rig operations.
i. Must be willing to work and live in isolated locations under drilling camp conditions.
j. Have a valid Saudi driving license


3. Senior Driller

Qualification:

a. Requires a comprehension of English to follow oral and written orders.
b. Have a minimum of 10 years rotary rig experience as a driller.
c. Must be able to work at extreme heights without abnormal fears.
d. Familiar with drilling tools and equipment, drilling practices and procedures.
e. Must be holding a valid supervisory IWCF or Well Cap Well Control certificate.

4. ASSISTANT DRILLER

Qualification:

a. Requires a comprehension of English to follow oral and written orders.
b. Have a minimum of eight years rotary rig experience, three of which as assistant driller.
c. Must be able to work at extreme heights without abnormal fears.
d. Familiar with drilling tools and equipment, drilling practices and procedures.
e. Must be holding a valid supervisory IWCF or Well Cap Well Control certificate.

5. Derrick Man

Qualification:

a. Have a minimum of 8-10 years training on the job and experience as a rig man, including both floor and derrick work.
b. Must able to understand work directions in English.
c. Familiar with the nomenclature of rotary drilling equipment.
d. Must possess physical stamina.
e. Have a good sense of balance and coordination to be able to work safely at heights in excess of 100 feet.
f. Willing to perform hard and hazardous work under extreme weather conditions involved in drilling wells and living at isolated well sites.


6. Barge Engineer

Qualification:

a. Have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience as a barge engineer on a jack-up barge.
b. Be fluent in spoken and written English.


7. Crane Operator

Qualification:

a. EDUCATION: English - E6B; Math - Industrial MI; completion of rigging and advanced boom attachment speciality course.

b. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 year’s experience in operating all types of basic and advanced mobile hydraulic cranes inclusive of 1800 hours of documented ‘accident-free’ crane operation as Crane Operator II. If job assignment includes operation of Lattice Boom Crane, operator must complete 200 documented hours of Lattice Boom Crane Operation.

c. LICENCE: Valid Saudi Arab Government Heavy Equipment Licence; valid Saudi Arab Government 2X licence.

d. CERTIFICATION: Saudi Aramco specialized Crane Operator certification; Saudi Aramco Lattice Boom Crane Operator Certification, if job assignment includes operation of Lattice Boom Crane.
e. LANGUAGE: Ability to receive and understand work directions in English; ability to read and understand load charts in English or Arabic.




9. Drilling Foreman / Rig Liaison man

Qualification:

a. BS in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations or High School Degree or equivalent with 15 years experience in Drilling Engineering and Operations.
b. Skill and expertise in deviated drilling including short radius horizontal wells.
c. Offshore jackup drilling experience with in depth knowledge of top drive units, Measurement While Drilling (MWD) technology and oil base muds.
d. Experience in drilling high pressure / high temperature wells as deep as 17,000 feet with heavy mud weights as high as 165 PCF in high H2S concentrations of 20%.
e. A current certificate in Blowout Prevention (BOP) and well control.
f. Have a valid Saudi driving license or a Saudi Arab Government acceptable international license to drive SAUDI ARAMCO vehicles.
g. Intensive oil/gas upstream specialized training courses with diploma education will be considered.
h. Extensive Drilling & Workover experience internationally (Shell, Exxon and Chevron etc.) as Rig Supervisor with both offshore and onshore drilling operations.
i. Extensive experience in mentorship and ability to transfer knowledge and skills.
j. Must have excellent communications skills.
k. Saudi Aramco field experience highly preferable.
l. Training and career development certified in English language.
m. Must have completed the H2S, Offshore survival (HUET), Firefighting and First Aid courses.
n. Must have valid IADC Well cap, H2S and HUET certificates.







10. Petroleum Engineer

Qualification:

a. BS in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
b. A minimum of ten – fifteen (10 – 15) years of experience in drilling engineering and operations.
c. Have expertise in all phases of Drilling & Workover engineering, including but not limited to, drill string design, casing design, drilling fluids, cementing, fishing, wellheads, testing, and completion of vertical and horizontal oil and high pressure deep gas wells.
d. Must possess strong analytical and computer skills, and have the ability to perform in depth technical studies related to Drilling and Workover operations.
e. Typically will be active in related professional societies and will have achieved professional recognition through publications, committee activities etc. He will typically have received a higher level of industrial recognition, such as committee chairmanships appointment as “distinguisher lecturer” etc.
f. Must be clearly recognized by both his supervisors and colleagues as thoroughly qualified and highly competent in his area of expertise. In addition, must be recognized by PE&D as an expert in his/her field. He must have demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly to work effectively with others, and to utilize his technical knowledge to achieve practical results.











11. Rig Superintendent

Qualification:

a. Minimum BS Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
b. A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in drilling engineering and operations.

c. Have a current certificate in BOP and well control.
d. Have a valid Saudi driving license

12. Rig HSE Coordinator

Qualification:

a. BS degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science, or in a related field is preferred from an accredited university.
b. Must have (5) years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in oil/gas or petrochemical industry, e.g., marine, pipelines, power distribution.
c. Must have knowledge or training in the following: occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applied industry, governmental and/or international standards.
d. Must have demonstrated knowledge of delivering hands on health, safety and environmental training. Must also have ability to assist with developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive health and safety programs.
e. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (training, presentations/report writing). Ability to lead and direct teams and/or committees. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Skilled in the standards, concepts, practices, and procedures within the health, safety and environmental fields. Ability to work at all levels within an organization and the ability to work in a diverse work group. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.











13. D&WO Well Control Expert

Qualification:

a. Engineering Degree will be highly considered.
b. Intensive industry training including appropriate specialized courses and seminars with the diploma education will be considered.
c. At least 3 years’ experience as WC Instructor in the internationally recognized training institute.
d. Familiar with the Well Control Competency Program for D&WO personnel.
e. Expertise in handling DS 6000 DS 5000 & DS 20 simulators
f. Extensive field experience as Driller-Tool-Pusher (highly recommended).
g. Experience in preparing curriculum and training materials.
h. Excellent written and oral command in English language and communication skills.
i. High experience (at least 5 years) in all Drilling & Workover Operations.


14. Rig Technical Coordinator

Qualification:

a. Degree or equivalent.
b. 5 years of experience in rig technical coordination.
c. Fluent in English spoken, reading and writing.

15. Rigger

Qualification:

a. High School Pass.
b. 2 years relevant experience.
c. Language: Sufficient English and mathematics to read and apply crane safe lifting capacity chats, and make conversion between kilograms and pounds and tons.
d. Valid SAG driver’s license for driving a motor vehicle is desirable.



16. Program Development & Evaluation Analyst
Qualification:

a. Bachelor Degree, Master’s Degree Desirable.
b. Six (6) years’ experience in training or education in addition to three (3) years professional experience in Training Program development and evaluation.
c. Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience on drilling operations offshore and onshore.
d. Excellent command of oral and written English.
e. Must have strong background in Drilling & Workover operation.
f. Extensive D&WO operations background.
g. Experience in developing training manuals and curriculum.


17. Tool Pusher
Qualification:

1. High School Certificate.
2. Should have had at least eleven (11) years’ experience in drilling operations.
3. Willing to work shift and live under trailer camp conditions (onshore or offshore).
4. Must have valid driver’s license.
