Job Description
Responsible for accuracy of setting out measurements, levelling and surveying the site, checking plans, drawing and quantities for accuracy of calculations. The duties includes implementation and supervision of all site drawings.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for site engineering functions where he will assist the superintendent in consulting with supervisors on their next day programs to ensuring sufficient work-front is available for the foremen and that quality standards are met;
• provide engineering support to the superintendent in assisting foremen in reading details and specs.
• Record Man-hours spent on each task/operation.
• Ensure that materials are or will be available before time in order to avoid any interruption of the works, and confirm that the materials comply with specifications.
• Initiate daily progress report for his part of work.
• Monitor material consumption by the foremen under his command, as well as the equipment hours spent on specific tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring that the technicians and laborers within his group adhere to company regulations.
Skills
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English
• Ability to work well as a team member.
Education
• A Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
