Substation Automation Systems Senior Design Engineer SAABB/SAAUT/SASDE
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Should have more than 4 years Professional Experience in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Able to manage the overall SAS engineering plan and monitor the progress in line with Project Milestones
• Checking and verifying the Quality of all SAS Design documents in reference to established Engineering Guidelines
• Bay level IED configurations and engineering.
• System Level Engineering
• Performing system tests according to approved test forms and ITP’s and Setting up the systems at factory, point-to-point test from bay level,
• System modifications, alterations, changes in the system per customer requirement and comments.
• Manage Team of Junior Design Engineers
• SAS systems documentation, training activities.
• Competent in IEC61850/IEC101/IEC104 protocols, power system protection,
• RTU and SCADA systems, relay configuration tools from ABB, Siemens and Alstom.
• Able to work on Windows Server/XP/Windows 7, C++, OPC Server/Client,
• Visual Basic and Ethernet/switches/time servers
