FIELD ENGINEER
Requirements :
• Level II Vibration Certification (Level III preferred)
• Hands-on experience in the field, ability to perform in-place machine balancing and machinery diagnostics
• Strong proficiency in reliability engineering principles and techniques, and the successful implementation of this knowledge.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Background in Rotating Machinery such as Gas & Steam Turbines, compressors, gearboxes and pumps
• Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas Sector
• Fluent in English
Main Tasks:
• Intervene at client’s site to install and commission the Protection & Condition Monitoring systems (hardware, software, application and configuration)
• provide technical support for the systems already installed at customer’s facility
• Provide technical training (hard & software) for Protection & Condition Monitoring Systems to customers
• Troubleshooting of the systems, either on site or remotely from headquarters, or analyzing sent databases
• Supervision of System assembly and all required preparation for the equipment to be installed at site
• System “Factory Acceptance Test” in house and “Site Acceptance Test” at the customer, including their preparation, realization and issuing of the final report to the customer
•Provide on-site (or remote) Vibration Analysis Services including machine balancing
