Maintenance Manager


Job Description

We are looking for the maintenance manager to oversee the physical upkeep of a large building or set of buildings such as a Staff campus, apartment complex, industrial warehouse, office buildings and others.

The Maintenance Manager schedules Preventative Maintenance and Predictive analysis for all facilities of the Group, as well as the repair of equipment that isn’t working properly.
In charge of building maintenance operation, custodial care, room setups, fire and safety programs, and equipment inventory control and ensure building security issues are addressed on a timely and proactive basis.
Ensure cost effective use of manpower and equipment and establishment of adequate spares to meet contractual requirements.
Overseeing Maintenance Budget and budgeting process, weekly cost analysis of spending.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance with legal requirements in the areas of environmental in order to drive company-wide compliance and to achieve the safety goals.
Work with outside contractors for new equipment installation & Maintenance.
Ensure spare parts and preventative maintenance items are on hand and managed.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Schedule and control all technical resources and supporting services and enforce facility safety systems.
Lead staff by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Responsible for the Project Technical and Support Staff on site and Maintenance Team supervision and management of project technical resources and facilities so as to ensure optimum performance.
Have a great attention to detail and solve problems quickly.
Able to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Skills

BS Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical Engineering), at least 6 years experience in a Construction and Maintenance companies.
Strong leadership, teambuilding and communications skills.
Perform with minimal supervision.
Good written and verbal communication.
Interact with all levels of personnel and management staff.
Must be customer service oriented and a great organizer.
Command over English language, Arabic is an additive advantage.
