Specification of IT Job Description
• Design, Develop & Implement Web Application, Database
• Design & Content Management system. with experience in developing and maintaining web portals.
• Responsible for understanding requirements, coding, unit testing, reporting, documentation
• Good knowledge in XML, PHP, JS, CSS, share Point and mySQL Database is preferred,
• Creating Web Services and Ajax Controls.
• Knowledge of e-Learning and SCORM Compliant development is an advantage.
• Good experience in flash packaging as SCORM 2004 compliant.
• Familiar with MOODLE and SharePoint LMSs.
• Good experience in LMS configuration, customization and administration.
• Management of Courses, including but not limited to; updating course properties, creating courses and enrolling users via enrollment keys and/or batch processing, course utilities i.e. import, export, archive, restore, etc, course configuration options, group(s) and site hierarchy management.
• Experience with Blackboard is a plus.
• Object Oriented classes knowledge
• Be able to use a good Graphics program like Adobe PhotoShop
• Know basic and advanced design principles, both of the Web and in print.
• Should be equipped with the knowledge of Network, Internet and different protocols
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills.
• Be able to write sound technical documentation and know to
• communicate effectively on technical concepts
• Strong inter-personal ability
• Ability to visualize a solution for the problem in hand
• Problem solving strategy
• Exceptional in detail follow up
Skills
HTML, XML, PHP, JS, CSS, AS, Apache Tomcat, share Point, MySQL, and other web based technologies.
Photoshop , flash is a plus
Education
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience
Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Moodle Administrator using Moodle 1.9 or above; supporting a large corporate user base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• LMS configuration and updating with new versions.
• LMS customization based on clients requirements.
• Create / publish / archive online courses, add / delete accounts, / adjust / maintain system parameters, add / delete resources, etc.
• Design and develop custom reports .
• Providing general system support
