Managing Productivity of drivers:
Manage the day-to-day matters and track the performance of company's and leasing contractors' drivers in order to ensure proper utilization of resources. In addition to monitor driver's productivity and approving recommends the drivers' monthly incentives.
Routes
Set & plan the right routes for each vehicle and driver to insure deliveries and ensure running within the set lead time to control the productivities of each truck, / driver.
Periodic Maintenance :
Insure implementing the regular and sudden maintenance for all fleet on time and as per the manufactures recommended standers to ensure running the truck in good shape and avoid break down time.
Leasing & Free - Lance Contracts:
Keep hard and soft copies of transportation contract with the leasing and free-lanced contracts an alert direct manager of required renewals or any violation by contractors to ensure fulfilling all obligations by both parties.
Trucks' capacity:
Ensure maximizing the trucks load capacity and avoid empty back load.
Reporting :
Report to the direct manager and concerned parties any serious transportation issues to ensure involving the right people and right time.
Gather, save, and update all require transportation information and reports in orders to issue and monitor the KPI's
SOPs:
Deploy new system / processes, follow up on the execution of ILS's transportation standard operating procedures and get direct manager's approval to update them if required to ensure updated procedures standardization implementation
Accidents:
Insure all vehicles are free of any damages or effects due to accident and penalties the high risk drivers case of any accident with different entities (government and internal/ external departments) to ensure closing the loop financially with all parties.
Business development:
Propose new ideas and initiatives to the direct manager to improve the productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the logistic services unit.
Transportation database:
Keep direct contact with potential transporters and update transporters database quarterly to utilize this once needed in any expansion, study, rate review…etc.
Leasing Operating Payment:
Review the monthly invoices of leasing contracts and deduct any charges against delay, damages, and losses to ensure reserving company right.
