Contracts Administration Specialist


Leads the Contract Administration in carrying out the business responsibilities related to Contracts Administration. The role includes providing contractual advice and executing the full procurement lifecycle from the business plan development phase through to the day-to-day post contract award contracts administration and contract close-out Major Responsibilities
Plans and controls all contract administration and related activities,from inception to closure of the contractual requirement
Manages and administrate all Facilities Management (FM) and Operation and Maintenance Service contracts. Activities include (but are not limited to)
Contractual compliance
Change orders
Claims administration
Contracts filing and archiving
Generating reports
Releasing Service Orders
Business and Contractual risk mitigation
Contractual advice and correspondences
Ensures that all contract obligations are understood,agreed,and adhered to by all Department Heads, Project Managers, Legal and applicable third parties
Introduces and implement the best commercial approaches for all business interactions with proponents
Plays a key role in overseeing all contract procurement activities, from the initiation stage and modeling through to the administration stage
Plays a key role in the Bid Review Team,when required
Prepares,as required,contracting strategies for the FM contracts, to include types of contracts, payment structure and terms and conditions, etc.,to achieve the best available commercial solution in terms of effectiveness and efficiency
Manages,supervises and coachs the team in drafting scopes of work,choosing payment mechanisms and including special terms and conditions in line with business needs and new contracts, working with proponents and others new contracts, working with proponents and others
