ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT


The successful candidate is an organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with a demonstrated customer service knowledge base, excellent communication skills, who can prioritize tasks effectively, multi-task efficiently, embrace and utilize technology to improve work flow. Experienced in support of people with diversity in education, cultural and socio-economic background.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing courteous, empathetic, respectful and timely customer service to county staff, vendors, citizens and other visitors
Providing correct information to customers and/or refers customers to appropriate staff
Directing incoming phone calls to appropriate program or individual. Assessing levels of urgency or emergency prior to transferring calls
Handling mail and correspondence
Issuing EBT cards to customers
Working with Benefits Specialists to ensure accuracy of client information
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
Spanish fluency is preferred
