MEDICAL OFFICER

Maintain a high standard of medical care and clinical credibility, utilizing current clinical research.
 Undertake counseling and support to employees and families where required and refer as appropriate.
 Provide advice on health-related topics for patients and their families including counseling on lifestyle, diet, exercise routines and general wellbeing.
 Advise on specific health issues including fitness to work and rehabilitation.
 Demonstrate cultural awareness within the work place.
 Assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing the policies and procedures appropriate to the needs of the department.
 Monitor the performance and work of the nursing team identifying areas for improvement.
 Assisting in the implementation of departmental management programs and participate in audit and quality programs as required.
 Participate in organizational meetings and activities as required.
 Maintain confidentiality at all times.
 Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
 To carry out any duties that may be required to ensure the efficient running of the medical service.


Skills
Doctor of Medicine OR MBBS
 Medical Permit from Dept. of Health, Dubai.
 Experience / qualification as a family physician (Min 5 years).
