Job Summary for Backer
We are seeking an experienced bakers,baker assistant and pastry chef with at least 2 year of previous experience in a bakery. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning, baking fresh loaves of bread, setting out the pastries and preparing fresh bread, pastries and other baked goods for the following day. It is also the baker’s responsibility to ensure the quality of the goods being used is up to par and make note of when supplies are running low so that an order can be made. We have both full-time and part-time positions available. The position is hourly and begins at 4 a.m. every day.
Responsibilities:
Mixing, preparing and baking bread and pastries.
Opening the bakery every morning.
Arranging the display case in an appealing manner.
Ordering more supplies.
Crafting and creating new and exciting baked goods.
Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for opening.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and follow recipes.
Baking.
Good organizational skills.
Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Creativity in crafting new pastries.
