Senior Backend Developer- AbuDhabi
• BS or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences or relevant discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in delivering high quality backend applications including consuming and building enterprise grade APIs.
• Excellent programming skills in Laravel / Symfony / Django / Nodejs.
• Must be comfortable with applying SOLID principles / Design patterns while coding.
• Must be comfortable in writing testcases for the code.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Hands on experience of databases like MySQL, SQL, Cassandra, Mongo or Postgresql.
• Must have experience with atleast one of the messaging queues Rabbit MQ / Kafka.
• Must have experience with Billing Engines, Charging Systems, Payment gateways.
• Solid understanding of deploying in cloud AWS preferably (EC2, RDS, S3, Cloudfront et al.)
• Must have command in HTML/ CSS and using a JS framework like Vue.js / Angular.js et al.
• Version Control/ CI: Git, SVN, Jenkins, Circle CI.
• Experience working with applications in the service delivery e.g (Uber / Food delivery etc) is a big plus.
• Familiarity with Elasitc Search or Solr is a big plus.
• Understanding of websockets / MQTT / Twilio / Google Maps API is a big plus
