Responsibilities
• Responsible for capacity planning and production activity control
• Ensure production orders are completed on schedule
• Release production orders for manufacturing
• Review daily capacity requirements versus defined capacity and reconciles
• Responsible for detailed planning and control of production orders as they progress to completion.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on suggested task list to facilitate scheduling
• Maintain work center definitions
• Maintain database
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma with at least 6 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment with-in Planning or production control
• Detailed production process knowledge and advanced knowledge of Capacity Planning, Production Activity Control, and systems and technology
• Good Excel understanding and able to use extensively
• sheet metal and steel Manufacturing would be an advantage
