Head of Remedial Management Bahrain
One of Bahrain’s top performing banks is looking to recruit a Head of Remedial Management. This position reports to the GM of Domestic Banking Group. The incumbent should have strong understanding of Retail, Commercial, Corporate, Banking and Credit life cycle management. The ideal candidate has to enhance the profitability of the Bank by reducing credit losses and keep Management informed of risks that affect profitability in the lending and collection areas.
Responsibilities:
• Train and develop the collection specialists to improve the efficiency of collections within the bank.
• Receive termination/resignation/retirement letters from Employers and ensure freezing of accounts.
• Provide Management with portfolio analysis and data highlighting trends in the lending portfolio and suggest changes to the lending criteria.
• Manage a team of collectors to follow-up and remedy past dues on Retail Loans, Credit Cards, Commercial & Corporate Banking and classified accounts.
• Track the market for developments that will provide Management and business units with proactive information to alter lending policies or credit approval strategy.
